Unistrut Service Company has always offered a wide range of light to heavy duty “continuous” and “spot” concrete inserts for pre-cast, pre-stressed or poured-in-place concrete floors, walls, and ceilings.  Our newest offering in this product line, the Unistrut P3246 Heavy Duty Concrete Insert, is the strongest insert on the market today.Unistrut P3246 is a threaded stainless steel concrete insert designed for heavy duty applications with up to 5,700 lbs. tension capacity in 3,000 psi concrete. Due to the strength of this heavy duty threaded insert, a single P3246 can replace multiple anchorage points, minimizing the total number of inserts needed to create a secure connection.  Use of Unistrut P3246 can also result in significant material and labor cost savings.

Many concrete inserts placed in proximity to rebar or reinforcing rods of a dissimilar material experience corrosive, galvanic couples that lead to insert failure.  P3246 prevents galvanic couples by including standard fiberglass rods that electrically isolate the insert from rebar mesh and other reinforcing materials.Manufactured with stainless steel for added corrosion resistance, Unistrut P3246 comes in a wide range of sizes, from ¾” to 1-½” and meets several industry and federal specifications, including: A-A-1192A (Type 18), WW-H-171-E (Type 18), ANSI/MSS SP-69 and MSS SP-58 (Type 18).
