Unistrut P3754 - Heavy Duty Concrete Inserts

Heavy Duty Concrete Insert (Channel Style) P3754 Series Concrete Insert is ideal for heavy duty anchoring to concrete, and is commonly used for curtain walls. This product allows easy installation before the concrete is poured, and attachment anywhere along its length using 1-5/8" Fittings, Channel Nuts or other products. It is perfect for applications that may need to be re-configured or re-anchored.
Features:
- The recommended design load when used for curtain wall anchorage is 5,000 lbs and is based on use in average, good concrete. The design load includes 1/3 increase in load as permitted by AISI specifications and Uniform Building Code when stresses are produced by wind or earthquake and other loads.
- The recommended design load is based on using two P1010 nuts at no less than 3" O.C. and no closer than 2" to either end of the insert. The distance between the insert centerline and the concrete edge must be a minimum of 3".
- Includes a styrene insert and end caps to prevent concrete seepage
- This product may be used for anchorage on ceilings, floors or walls. Being a pre-pour installation, it is ideal for applications with cracked concrete concerns and avoids the creation of Silica Dust during installation (see OSHA 29 CFR §1926.1153 and 29 CFR §1910.1053).
- Channel dimensions are 1 5/8" wide x 1 3/8" deep x 12 ga. Thick
- Embedment tabs are spaced at 8" O.C. and have an embedment depth of 7-3/8"
