Here are two ways that our guardrail line can help you out…
The first scenario is a situation where your facility has rooftop equipment that requires periodic maintenance. If the rooftop doesn’t have a current means of fall protection, keeping folks safe and your company in compliance with OSHA fall protection regulations is a problem. If you have looked into an engineered solution (e.g., a lifeline system) and have been discouraged by the cost, a guardrail system could be a viable alternative solution. Our guardrail system uses weighted base plates that don’t require any penetration of the roof. Just drop the railing into the receiver, tighten the set screw, and you are set! Best of all, your employees can perform the install, which will save additional time and money. Although our guardrail doesn’t permanently attach to the roof, you can leave the system up permanently and it will provide years of service.
The other scenario to consider is when you need a portable guardrail solution that can be set up and torn down on a per job basis. In this case, you can set the perimeter railing up prior to starting work, and then tear it down and move it to your next job. Although most folks equate guardrail to rooftop fall protection applications, we also see our guardrail used at construction sites, bridge projects, and more.
